Every few weeks someone asks if “private” tools are allowed if you do not talk about them. FACEIT publishes rules in one place—read them instead of Discord myths.

Official rules: https://www.faceit.com/en/rules — cheating, exploiting, and account sharing are covered there. FACEIT anti-cheat runs in the client; manual reviews still happen when stats spike or reports stack.

Third-party menus marketed for CS2 violate game and platform terms even when they “only” run in scrims. Platform bans can stick even if Steam looks clean.

The FACEIT-scoped build is listed on the product page. Buying is not the same as permission to queue. Treat enforcement as a real risk—see the blog note on safety if you are weighing account loss.

Smurf reports are part of the same ecosystem. Playing on fresh accounts to dodge Elo is its own headache—rules page covers integrity expectations.

If you appeal a ban, screenshots of your settings rarely help. This thread is just a signpost—support staff follow FACEIT policy, not forum opinions.
